PRODUCT REPRESENTATION

Photos used to depict products available for purchase on this website are representative of the actual items to the best of our abilities. Due to the nature of natural wood, variation in colour, grain, knots, etc., imperfections may be turn up. While we inspect every item to isolate for any extreme examples, some differentiation can be expected (and appreciated for its individual uniqueness).

 

PRODUCT ASSEMBLY

Every canoe is different and can change slightly in shape and beam width over time. That’s why our parts are not made to measure but are actually longer than what your canoe would need. Measuring, cutting and basic tools will be required to install canoe parts like seats, thwarts, yokes, handles, etc. In so doing, you can be assured that the fit will be perfect and suited to the exact specifications of your canoe. Be sure to measure twice.

Gunwales can be made from different materials including wood, composite and aluminum. In each case we have custom hardware suited to each example, so letting us know what you are working with is important and why we ask for this information.

Langford parts have been designed to be ideal for Langford canoes but they can also be used with a host of other non-Langford canoes. As there are many design varieties, gunwales, construction, materials, etc. not all part replacements may work universally. If unsure, inquire with us by email at service@langfordcanoe.com and we’ll be happy to help you out.

 

RETURNS

Langford warranties that all parts have been inspected and in good condition when leaving our shop. Langford cannot accept the return of any items customized for installation including cutting, drilling or any other modifications. Ensure the product purchased suits your requirements before undertaking any assembly work.

If, for any reason there is an issue with your purchase, you may return your unused product for a refund within 30 days of the delivery date. If for whatever reason the item you purchased was in error, we reserve the right to charge a 15% restocking fee depending on the product.

You can expect a refund on your credit card within 7 to 14 business days following the reception and inspection of your returned item (it may take up to 30 days to be visible on your credit card statement).

You are responsible for all fees associated with the return of your product(s). The method of shipping is your choice.
